oh hey there!

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here and that we can get to know each other a little better. I’m Sarah - a mumma to 3, a wife and a lifestyle photographer with a passion for capturing the simple moments that you’ll cherish for the rest of time.

Photography has been running through my veins for as long as I can remember. As a young girl, my best friend and I would buy those old school disposable cameras, grab a sheet and set up a background for photoshoots that were full of fun. Fast forward to years and babies later, and I decided to make something that I love into a job and now, I just couldn’t imagine doing anything else in this life.

My husband and I are raising a blended family and are based 900km from civilization in the Queensland outback and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love soaking up the beautiful outdoors and live for when the wet season hits and the rivers are flowing. Being present in these moments with those I love is one of the gifts that being a photographer has given me because that’s exactly what I want to offer you - the opportunity to capture and relive those moments where you were truly present and loved.

We have an amazing backyard here but do we travel? Hell yeah! Some of our favourite spots include Canada, Vanuatu and New Zealand just to name a few. I also love to travel for creative projects, so if you’ve got something in mind - let me know.

So, what can you expect when doing a session with me? Think authentic, real, raw, joyous and genuine. The one goal I have is to capture a moment in time for you to treasure - whether that moment is big like the day you marry the love of your life or give birth to your babies or it’s the simple moments you have together with your family, they are all magical to me.

While my job and my family fill my cup endlessly, I also love taking some zen time for myself each week [for me this means doing pottery twice a week!], oh and anything that involves a glass of wine and a grazing plater.

My love for family and travel also means I’m also up for exploring, so if that’s something you’re up for, we’re in for lots of fun.

Just one little thing you should probably know… if you’re looking for a traditional “say cheese” photography session, we’re probably not best suited to work together! To make sure we create those real, genuine and joyous images that are more my style, I’ll make sure you are feeling at home and comfortable with me, which includes plenty of direction and loads of fun along the way.
